   Fishygill, Yes, in order to work with this footage you will need to convert it to match the frame rate of the composition you are making. Video Copilot has a great way of doing this for free in After Effects and it might give you some ideas of how to do it with another program if that's what you have. http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/frame_rate_converter/

    robinrollins (or anyone else) I saw you mentioned AVC. I have this program and I'm downloading some of this stock footage to integrate into my projects. I shoot with a Sony HD cam at 25fps (around 8000 bit rate rendering usually). In order to use these files in my projects what should I convert the files to in order to edit smoothly? Any help would be awesome! Thanks

    The robinrollins fellow who mentions AVC! Maybe you can give me some advice (or anyone else -) I shoot and edit in HD 25fps (8000 bit rate or there about) What should I convert these avi, quicktime HD files to in order to fit in with my projects which include my own footage at those specs? Any help would be awesome -D
