   Sorry you are so wrong... we have one of the largest collections of trolley cars if not the largest in the nation owning trolley cars from many of America's cities past. We acknowledge the history of these cities by painting the trolley cars we've purchased in the colors of the city they were purchased from. We have cars from Illinois, Philadelphia, and St. Louis as well as scores of pother major American cities, we even have cars we've purchased from Milan in honor of the many European visitors we welcome to our city every year. This clip was in fact made in San Francisco as I worked in one of the buildings shown for over 20 years. So maybe you should come visit us a little more often. We would be glad to see you and you can look for our trolley cars which (like our cable cars) go down Market st downtown then cross over at the Ferry Building to Fisherman's wharf.

   I'm a San Francisco native. That is restored, double-ended PCC streetcar car number 1015 repainted in the livery of the Illinois Terminal Railroad System. It is traveling northeast on the San Francisco Municipal Railway historic F Market line past the Federal Reserve Bank on Market Street between Main and Spear Streets.    Sorry, that is a trolley car and it is in the state of Illinois. I go to San Francisco frequently...and those are "cable cars".

   I don't know about the San Francisco part, but that's not a cable car. It is a trolley car.
