This is not a "trolley"... trolley cars have overhead wires to power them along. Cable cars use underground cables to pull them up the hill. This cable car is a "California" version that can go to the end of the line and simply reverse directions without turning around. Notice the open air seating on both sides. The "Powell" cars are only one direction and have to use a turntable at the end of the line to turn around. Great clip! Thanks!
